Missy is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University. She currently receives specialized training and direct supervision from Ignite's Internship Program Manager, Hester Campbell, LPC, NCC.

Missy received her bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in sociology and anthropology. Missy has broad experience working with families and children in crisis centers and in educational settings. 

Because every client is unique, Missy works from an humanistic integrative approach, tailoring therapy  to each individual based on their needs and concerns. Missy is a certified trauma professional (CTP) and enjoys working with clients using acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment- informed therapy, and exposure and response prevention for OCD. Missy provides an empathetic, non-judgmental, and safe space for clients. Missy also believes laughter and humor are valuable in therapy and can lighten the spirit.

Missy works with clients of all backgrounds and identities. Missy has a particular interest in working with clients navigating anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, depression, OCD,  parenting, and life transitions.
