Trauma Treatment for Veterans and Service Members
At Ignite, we are passionate about the care and treatment of our veterans and service members. We specialize in treatment of trauma and PTSD. The gold-standard in treatment of PTSD, endorsed by Veteran Affairs, is Prolonged Exposure.
The VA describes this treatment as: “Prolonged Exposure (PE) teaches you to gradually approach trauma-related memories, feelings, and situations that you have been avoiding since your trauma. By confronting these challenges, you can decrease your PTSD symptoms”.
