Kristen is a practicum student therapist pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University. She is currently receiving direct supervision and specialized training from Hester Campbell, MA, LPC, ACS.
Kristen is passionate about providing affirming, evidence-based therapy for the queer community and other marginalized groups. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) to support clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, OCD and life transitions.
Her approach is relational, evidence-based, and client-centered, grounded in the belief that meaningful change occurs within the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship. Kristen prioritizes creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and deeply understood, while also providing challenges in service of their growth. She integrates each person’s identity, values, and life context into the work, supporting healing through connection, collaboration, and thoughtful inquiry.
Outside of therapy, Kristen enjoys camping, road trips, board games and video games, and spending time with her cat, Maple, and dog, Oslo. She brings a balanced perspective to her work, honoring the importance of both joy and personal transformation.
